March was dedicated to promote VOYAGE entrepreneurial travel in travel fairs which took place in Berlin, Germany and Paris, France.
Over the last 20 years entrepreneurship competencies and skills are in high demand and the number of entrepreneurship education and training continues to expand worldwide. However, there is still a lot of space for the better programmes to be developed.
VOYAGE entrepreneurial travel training programme seeks for the quality and development of useful entrepreneurship skills that enables people to take advantage fully of development of valuable entrepreneurial skills and creation of their own (or co-operative) company. In order to tackle unemployment, especially youth unemployment, VOYAGE project team has developed an exclusive methodology and training programme which helps to obtain new entrepreneurship competencies and to improve additional skills of current entrepreneurs.
All the advantages of VOYAGE entrepreneurial travel were presented via “VOYAGE challenge” campaign in Paris and Berlin.
ITB Berlin 9 -13th March, 2016. As the Leading Travel Trade Show, ITB Berlin is the foremost business platform for global touristic offers. Each year in March the international tourism industry looks forward to ITB Berlin. Everyone is here – over 10,000 exhibitors from over 180 countries, including all the big names from the travel industry and all the innovative services and products.
VOYAGE team with “VOYAGE challenge” campaign and VOYAGE challenge wheel took are really good spin in promoting entrepreneurial travel training programme. First couple of days were dedicated for networking with potential partners and during the public days VOYAGE team was engaging with individual visitors by challenging them to spin the wheel, do the task and win valuable VOYAGE souvenirs.
Despite its size and uniquely diverse offers, ITB Berlin features a clear, logical structure: Along with the familiar geographic organization according to Destinations, the hall layout is also arranged in Segments which correspond to the most important touristic topics.
Activities were carried out in two different locations of ITB. First part of the day VOYAGE campaign was delivered in Cyprus stand, while afternoon sessions took place in Lithuanian tourism department stand.

Soon after ITB travel trade show VOYAGE team has moved to Paris, where Salon Mondial du tourism was taking place on 17 -20th March, 2016. Here VOYAGE challenge campaign was implemented as smoothly as in Berlin.

- More than 400 exhibitions representing cities, countries, regions, activities, various tour operators and agencies, etc.

- Approximately 330 contracts were made during 3 days event
After these exhibitions VOYAGE team came to conclusion that souvenirs and information leaflets on its own are not interesting to people. All age groups like challenges, they like to participate, to compete and when they implement difficult task, they feel happy and feel that they deserve the gift. We made VOYAGE souvenirs valuable – a reminder that after hard work and persistence an award comes.
