YOU CAN BE CREATIVE!

EU structural funds 2007 – 2013 supported the project “Get Over People’s Taunts! You Can Be Creative!” that was held by “Teisėtvarka” association and “European Social Entrepreneurship and Innovative Studies Institute”.

The final event of the project “Get Over People’s Taunts! You Can Be Creative!” was held on 15 May in Juozas Miltinis drama theatre.  More than 200 pupils from 4 schools: Mažeikių r. Židikų Marijos Pečkauskaitės secondary school, Skuodo rajono Ylakių gymnasium, Tauragės rajono Žygaičių gymnasium, Kelmės Jono Graičiūno gymnasium, shared with each other their experiences, also represented their works made during the whole project.

Pupils used works of professional photographers and fresco painting to decorate school walls also with the musicologist of Druskininkai Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis art school Rasa Kaušiūtė composed 4 songs that was recorded in professional studio during the project. Moreover, they performed 4 mini theatre études, directed by actress – artistic director Violeta Mičiulienė.

Project was released in reference to Human Resources Leadership Development Program, 2nd priority’s “Lifelong learning” VP1-2.2-ŠM-05-K section “Implementation and encouragement of enterprise, learning foreign languages and innovative educational methods”

The model was made according to the prescription of 2007-2013 m. Human Resources Leadership Development Program, 2nd priority’s “Lifelong learning” VP1-2.2-ŠM-05-K section “Implementation and encouragement of enterprise, learning foreign languages and innovative educational methods”  position statement on gambling sponsorship N° 1 announced 6 April, 2010 by The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania.

Many of teachers also those who work in educational institutions, lifelong learning administration, cultural institutions personnel, and members of youth organizations got higher qualification certificates.  They attended seminars and workshops against discrimination and taunting, also those related to communication, collaboration, and coaching. In general, 387 people got certificates. All the knowledge they had gained could be used in their future career. 1370 pupils attended academic and practical activities.

One of the main purposes of the project was to enhance cooperation between cultural institutions, schools, non-governmental organizations, to help them share their ideas and experience among the institutions of art and cultural sector, to apply new educational methods in school subjects. The cooperation between institutions should prevent discrimination and taunting.

The project promoted the usage of innovative educational methods, improved organization of study material and systematic innovations’ development in schools and other educational institutions.

Project contributed to the development of Education System and cooperation between institutions nationwide – the base of coaching methods and how to use them in schools was created. In general, 21 highly qualified methods of academic art, communication and cooperation development, enhancement of innovations preventing discrimination and taunting were arranged and represented. The project lasted 18 months from November 2010 to May 2012.

Groups participated in project: teachers, pupils and their parents (foster – parents), educational helping experts, lifelong learning administration personnel, cultural institution personnel, members of youth organizations. The total number is 1757 participants. The project was sponsored by ESF (The European Social Fund). The total amount of financial support is 952.399 litas.

The project “Get Over People’s Taunts! You Can Be Creative!” enhanced the nationwide collaboration between cultural institutions, comprehensive schools, youth and non-governmental organizations, as well international participation preventing discrimination and hatred.

Short project description

The plan of innovative educational products was made to enhance the nationwide collaboration between cultural institutions, comprehensive schools, youth and non-governmental organizations, as well international participation preventing discrimination and hatred. It should be helpful preventing the stagnation of educational innovations, lack of collaboration between institutions sharing their knowledge and experience about practical educational methods. One of the main purposes of the project is to enhance the educational innovations in school programs and other institutions nationwide, also the coaching method: education based on innovative information and communication technology for people that come from different age, social, involving them in various activities. Project contributes to the better education system and enhancement of collaboration between institutions nationwide: usage of innovative coaching methodology base in school programs. 21 high qualification methods related to communication, innovation, collaboration preventing hatred and discrimination were integrated and represented.

Teachers, educational helping experts, lifelong learning administration personnel, members of youth organizations and pupils trained using coaching method will use their knowledge and experience gained during the project to realize their future ideas.
